Where should divorce be filed if wife is in another country and husband is in US?

Wife is in England. Husband is in the US. Wife is British and her residence is in England. Wife and Husband have been seperated for 2 years and wife wants a divorce.

Answer:

The Wife can get a divorce in the United States, or England. The procedures vary in the US and England but a divorce can be obtained in either jurisdiction. If there are children or property involved, the divorce could be more complicated but can still be obtained. For International divorces is it advisable that the divorce be handed by an Attorney experienced in International Divorce Law.
