How do I get my divorce if my wife will not sign unless I confess to adultry?
Full Question:
I am a man who filed for divorce May 2006. My wife contested the divorce and retained a lawyer. Due to child support I am unable to retain a lawyer. I have complied with all of her wishes. She is keeping all of the marital property and receiving 75 percent of my pay check each month. This is difficult for me to live, but I will do whatever to make sure my two children are taken care of. Her lawyer told me that she refuses to sign the divorce papers unless I admit to adultery. I have not done this and so I refuse to admit to it. I want to move on with my life. We have been separated since November 2005, so what step can I take next? I just want out. Can she hold me in this marriage? I want out. Is there a form I can file to go before a judge myself.

Answer:
You probably need to be represented by an attorney to finally get it resolved. Suggest you contact one. You may be surprised and find one you can afford.
