What Is The Difference In A Will And A Living Will?
Full Question:
I own a home. I have been told that if I should go into a coma. The costs will be about $500,000 a year to keep me alive; no guaranty of recovering from the coma, and the home can be confiscated for costs. I would prefer to not be force fed and exist in a coma. I want my daughter (who survived a $125,000 cancer operation, and now cannot afford another such operation, etc.) to obtain my home, in case she needs a place to live or to sell my home for her medical needs. I have heard about a living will and a living trust. What type of trust would insure that my DAUGHTER benefits from my home for her medical needs for today and in the future (and not to be wasted, to keep me alive for one more very painful year by force feeding)?
