I have many savings bonds with my name or my late husband's name on them. I need to replace my late husband's name with that of my grandson.

The U.S. Treasury Department is hesitant to reissue savings bonds upon request. Because of the millions of bonds issued and the cost of reissuing them, your reissue request may be denied. Talk to your Banker.
