Is psychological damage considered irreparable harm?
Irreparable harm is defined as damages that cannot be compensated in dollars. It is injury that is neither remote nor speculative, but actual and imminent and that cannot be remedied by an award of monetary damages. It is possible for psychological harm to be claimed to constitute irreparable harm. It will be a subjective matter for the court to determine, based on the facts and circumstances in each case, whether irreparable harm may be proven.
