Can we cut roots of our neighbors tree that are on our property and may damage our foundation?
Neighbors tree roots breaking block wall and our side yard concrete. Could damage our foundation. Can we cut the tree roots on our side. Does the neighbor need to cut down the tree.

I have a beautiful 100 year o pine tree in the corner of my yard and it drops a very small amount of pine needles in my neighbors yard who has recently bought the property. He want me to cut any limbs that hang over his property even though they about 40 feet up. Cutting the limbs on his side would make the tree lobsided and therefore dangerous. Am I required to cut my tree?

When we bought our home the area next to us was vacant. The builder has started to develop the prop for housing development. Our home was the last home built next to his land. His tree has caused alot damage to the side walk. We received a notice to repair this said sidewalk. Why would we pay to have pay for damages done by someone else neglect?
