Which state do I file for divorce in since I am in the Navy?
Full Question:
I currently am living in Co, I am a resident of MS, but I was married in TN. I got a car that we are both on the registration, but I am the only one on the loan. She has committed adultry and is living with the man the did this with. She wants the car, and wants me to pay for it, so can I file for a divorce here or MS, and/or TN? Which state do I need to file in? I am in the U. S. Navy, and what can I do about this legally, because she will not make up her mind on whether she wants the car or not. I want to file a noncontestant divorce, because I can not afford a full out price of a divorce, is there anything I can do, and which state do I or can I file in for a divorce and what can I do about the car?

Answer:
It may be possible to have the lender agree to have her assume the loan and then transfer title to her, or she may agree to transfer title to you only.
