What does the 3E stand for that comes before Quit Claim on my deed?
Full Question:
My title deed type for my house is listed as "3E-QUIT CLAIM DEED EXEMPT"
I am the sole individual on the mortgage but not on the title. The other individual on the title has not lived on the property in 2 years (also has not had any financial obligations on the property since). We were never married, but I am married now to another individual who now lives in the same house with me. What does 3E really mean? And what are my options getting a quit claim?

Answer:
I suspect it is a classification used locally. I recomend calling the county recorder's office where the property is located or the entity that prepared the deed.
