Can I sue my ex for money and energy put into his home?
Full Question:
I put money into a boyfriend's house. I have all the receipts for this. He "made me believe" this was going to be a place we were going to spend our lives together. Recently I found out that he was seeing other WOMEN (many) through out the duration of our relationship.
In 2004 I was involved in a motorcycle accident which was his fault. I did not sue his insurance company for the amount I should have and signed off on this. (I know, I was stupid) the money I did recieved, was spent on this house that I was involved in restoring.
Can I seek out restitution for my labor, and money put into this venture. He has made it unbearable to stay for obvious reasons. I have records and witnesses to the amount of time and energy I put into this as well as witnesses who were under the same understanding of our relationship.
