I need to 'answer' a summons regarding a credit card debt. I do not dispute the debt, but have been unemployed on and off for 10 months (was originally laid off in January). I'm unable to pay. I have received a Summons (100) with regards to collecting money owed to Visa. I do owe the money $10000 including approx $2000 in late, over limit and interest payments. I understand I must respond to the summons by the 30th of August. How do I do that correctly and am I still able to make a plan for payment and avoid a judgement?
