I am trying to understand the definition of the Alford Plea: After reading the definition this is my understanding of the definition.
If someone stole a car and got pulled over by the police admitted to being in a stolen vehicle but not actually admitting stealing the vehicle.
Would this be in the ball park of correct?
If not correct could you give me an example of what it means?
