Do I need to turn myself into the jail if I have a warrant for traffic tickets that I have paid?

I have incurred a warrant for my arrest due to missed court date for traffic violations. I missed court due to an illness which caused me to be hospitalized. I have cleared all matters for the traffic violations,ie., insurance,, plates, expired lincense now i want to turn myself in to remove the warrant but I do not wish to spend jail time, I have bond money although i do not know how much bond is. is it better for me to pay to motion the case up in front of the judge or go directly to turn myself into the jailers? And how do i find a bailsbondsmen?

You can locate bail bond agents in the local yellow pages. I suggest you contact the court that ordered the warrant. In most cases, the clerk will give you a date to go to court to clear the warrant. You must appear in court on the scheduled date. If you do not, there will be a new warrant and you may have to pay additional penalties. Sometimes you can clear the warrant by forfeiting bail without going to court. For some warrants, you must go to court.
