My wife and I went to marriage counseling and counselor will not testify.

Full Question:

My wife and I went to marriage counseling together. She admitted she never loved me, never wanted to get married or have kids. I also saw the therapist individually and during those sessions we talked about my then wife's comments. We divorced. I am now seeking an annulment and have asked the therapist to just state what we spoke about in my individual session. She refuses. Doesn't seem right. Who is right? We are in CT.

Answer:

The communications would be considered priviledged.  Also a divorce woud more than likely have been the proper action not an annulment.
