Can I ask my tenant to dispose of the waste and garbage himself?
I rented the upper portion of my house to a young guy. Until now, I used to dispose of his and our garbage together. Now, I don’t think I’ll be in the house too much to do all these jobs. Can I ask my tenant to dispose of the waste and garbage from now onward?

I have rented my housed to a college student in Montana. The tenant is not keeping the premises clean and tidy. He has already damaged the air conditioning and other electrical appliances due to his careless usage. Is there a law in Montana which states that the tenant has an obligation to keep the premises of the rental property clean and maintained?
