Full Question:
I took my husband's name upon marriage, it is not hyphenated. I actually have 2 last names i.e. name name, without a hyphentaion. I wanted to use my maiden name for business & to sign a copyright contract. Can I do that? Or do I have to use my new married name? I wanted to work in business and be known on these contracts with my maiden name. Or do I have to change my name back to my maiden name legally to do so?

Answer:
As long as not done with wrongful intent, such as to defraud creditors, it is generally acceptable to continue using a maiden name for business purposes.
