Will There Be Problems Transferring Property if My Father's Estate Was Never Probated?
My mom and my dad were married for 27 years. When they bought their home, my dad was the only one on the grant deed. My father passed away 30 years ago and my mom has done nothing about it. Will we have problems if she passes away? She has a will giving her siblings all rights to the home and she has my dad's death certificate

My mother died intestate. Her only assets were $1200 in a Social Security account and her house which she owned free and clear. We had to borrow the money for her funeral. Since this is clearly a house-only estate, do we have to pay the debts she incurred while she was alive? They are primarily medical bills related to her final illness.

My mother passed away and left her residuary estate to be divided between siblings. On my Mother's IRA/Brokerage Account my sister was listed as the beneficiary.
