Can I be involved in my fiance's custody battle for the children?
Full Question:
My fiance is going through too much emotional duress concerning the constant legalities involved in the custody/ guardianship proceedings in regards to her two daughters. The ex-husband and his new wife employ intimidation tactics all the time towards my fiance(mother of the two daughters). To what extent can I as fiance get involved to help her out? I want to be part of all discussions because she needs guidance and support. What are my rights regarding input into the situation?

Answer:
Involvement by a non-party is usually up to the court but is not that common since the courts must limit involvement by people who are not parties to the action or their attorneys.
