Full Question:
I was told at a Financial Planning Seminar that I could include a certain statement in my Last Will and Testament that would avoid my estate from going through probate court. What is that statement?
Answer:
I am unable to provide a definite answer without knowing all the facts involved. One way of avoiding probate involves putting property into a revocable living trust. It is possible to write a "pourover" clause in a will, so that property "pours over" into the trust, which is exempted from probate.
