Can I place a lien on a vehicle that I fixed and was never paid for?
Full Question:
I own a auto repair shop. I fixed a vehicle and they only paid half the bill. They paid half in a check and there was a stop payment put on that check. I was wondering what paperwork is needed to get a vehicle lien on it or a mechanics title for the vehicle so I can keep it for repayment of his debt?
