Probably not since Rule 26(b) of the Hawaii Rules of Appellate Procedure provides:
Rule 26. COMPUTATION AND EXTENSION OF TIME.
(b) Extension of time. The Hawaii appellate courts, or any judge or justice thereof, for good cause shown upon motion may extend the time prescribed by these rules for doing any act, or may permit an act to be done after the expiration of such time.
