Indiana Code (Section 20)
Section 14-16-1-20
(c) An individual may not operate a vehicle on a public highway without a
valid motor vehicle driver's license.
Section14-16-1-23 (Section 23)
(a) An individual shall not operate a vehicle under any of the following
conditions:(2) While:(A) under the influence of an alcoholic beverage; or
(B) unlawfully under the influence of a narcotic or other habit
forming or dangerous depressant or stimulant drug.
Section 14-16-1-29
Sec. 29.
(a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), a person who
violates this chapter commits a Class C infraction.
(b) A person who violates Section 17, 18(a), 18(b), 18(c), 23(a)(1), 23(a)
(2), or 24 of this chapter commits a Class B misdemeanor.
Driving under the influence is a Class B misdemeanor.
Driving without a valid license is a Class C infraction.
