Full Question:
I received a check out of no where in my mail box addressed to me and with my name on it for the amount of $1020.00 from a company I never have done any business with but recently have been praying for a miracle because I'm so financially broke. Anyhow I thought that my prayers had been answered, I opened an account at Bank of America and deposited it and withdrew $200 which I spent on a bus ticket to get to another state for a job opportunity. Now the check is I think you call bounced and I'm now in the hole $222 some odd dollars. I was not participating in any kind of scam and feel like I have been scammed. What can I do? I'm not a thief. I never requested this check from the company I just believed that a miracle happened now I have a $220 debt. I feel victimized. What can I do?
