When I marry would I aquire my new husband's debt owed prior to our marriage?

You love someone and would love to marry them, but they have children and paying child support. By marrying them does it allow those collecting to look to me for payment. In other words, do I acquire his debt?

No. The obligation is personal to the ex-husband, not a person he marries and there is no obligation on the person he marries to pay his child support obligations.
