I rented my house in Oklahoma to a bachelor, and this was a tenancy at will. My tenant is moving from the rented premises and has provided me one week notice. Can my tenant leave the house by giving one week notice?

Answer:
41 Okl. St. § 4 reads:
“Thirty (30) days' notice in writing is necessary to be given by either party before he can terminate a tenancy at will. . . .”
Per 41 Okl. St. §4, your tenant may not be permitted to leave the house by giving one week notice. The tenant may be required to give 30days notice before terminating the agreement.
