Who is responsible for my father's credit card debt since he passed away?
My father died 3 months ago leaving balances on several credit cards ranging from 7K TO 10 K. He also, unbeknownced to me (his son), mailed balance transfer checks the day I took him to the hospital clearing most of my credit card debt. I am living with a gentleman and I have added a list of personal belongings to my will that states he agrees that these are my personal belongings and gives his permission for me or my heirs to remove them from the premises should we split or one of us passes away.
