If a family member dies without a will or any assets other than a vehicle valued at less than $500, can it be inherited without also inheriting any debts of the deceased? We don't have the title and would need to get it replaced and then have all the heirs sign it over to the one person we understand. We just don't want to inherit medical debt as well, etc.
