Can an Executor Also Be Named as a Beneficiary?
Full Question:
I am doing my will and testament using the form for 'single with no children'. My question is, can my executor be the same person as one of the beneficiaries? I want to name my nephew executor but also my beneficiary if the main beneficiary dies before me.

Answer:
An executor may also be named as a beneficiary in the same will. Since family members are often the closest people in the testator's life, one or more of them are frequently named as executor even though they may also be devisees, or beneficiaries, under his or her will.
