My husband and I have been married for almost three years, but want a divorce. I did not work during our marriage because he did not want me to work. Will I be entitled to alimony?

Either party may be ordered to pay alimony to the other spouse after consideration of the following factors:
1. The income of the parties
2. The relative earning abilities of the parties
3. The ages and physical, mental and emotional condition of the parties
4. The retirement benefits of the parties
5. The duration of the marriage
6. The extent to which it would be inappropriate for a party to seek outside employment due to custody of a minor child
7. The standard of living established during the marriage
8. The relative extent of education of the parties
9. The relative assets and liabilities of the parties
10. The contribution of each party to the education, training, or earning ability of the other party
11. The time and expense necessary for the spouse seeking alimony to aquire education, training or job experience to enable that spouse to obtain appropriate employment
12. The tax consequences to the parties
13. The lost income production capacity due to marital responsibilities
14. Any other relevant factor. § 3105.18
