What does divestment mean legally?
Under a General Statute a person can request a divestment of child support if he is physically disabled. What does divestment mean legally?

In 1995 I was charged with a felony non-support in excess of $5,000. But I only owed $4,000. They said that it was because I fail to pay 6 consecutive months in a 12 month period. My 6 months of non paying were not in a row. Was I wrongfully charged.

Can a judge on a child support case order a lien on the noncustodial parent's property when the deed has two names on it? His name is listed as first owner and his girlfriend is listed as second owner. The lien would be for approximately $10,000.
