Can a 17 year old make a Will in Florida?

I live in Florida. I am 17 and graduated high school early. I work full time and live with my parents. My Grandfather left me some money when you died that my parents have in an account for me. I want to leave my money to my girlfriend if something happens to me but I am told I cannot make a Will in Florida until I am 18. Please help.

Property in Florida but Father lives in New York where he died. Which law applies to Florida Property?

My Father lived in New York but had real estate in Palm Beach Florida that is very valuable. I am amazed he did not make a Will. He was survived by a wife, me and my Sister. My Sister and I are his children from a prior marriage. Our mother died 5 years ago. He is 84 and his current wife is only 34. My grandmother left a legacy of $100,000 to me and my brother. The will stated that it was to be shared equally between us.
