Is there any kind of legal way I can get emancipated being pregnant?
I am a pregnant 16 year girl wanting to move in with my boyfriend which is 17. I have had a bad experience living with my mom. She has hit me and more mental abuse than physical abuse. When I have tried to do something about it before, they called and warned my mom and i have gotten into more trouble. Is there any kind of legal way I can get emancipated being pregnant?

If a person is arrested for a crime on a warrant, goes to trial, and ends up getting convicted of a lesser crime, can they be arrested and tried for the original crime charged in the first trial? Would double jeopardy apply to a case like this?

The charges were dismissed, but the parent failed a hair follicle test and is now in treatment for drug abuse. The child really wants to live with parent to the point they ran away from the parent that got temporary custody of the child.
